Pastoring human people is not always about biblical teaching...of course, you know all about this, right??? I'm sure there were times when you were growing up that daddy announced work day and only a few showed up...oh, the other frustrations of pastoring...
so a pastor makes a leadership decision that you disagree with...I'm sure he'll consult with you next time

okay that's fine. I'm use to being under that Rule code.
I'm okay with abiding by it i always have, BUT i'm just curious, what is your Pastoral reason for it ?? I've been told it looks like the world, like hippies, new agers etc. , Pride (which comes in so many ways). I've also been told it looks unkept. however, If there are people in your audience, who cares if they are unkept or not? a lot of people come frumpy, clothes haven't been ironed, shoes are diryt and unshined,etc.

Tell me, Dan the Bible Answer Man...where does it say in the bible what color the carpet must be? What kind of instruments should a church contain? What should the pulpit look like?
