It's not a matter of us accepting God but of Him accepting us. And He will only do that when we obey HIs Word and His plan of salvation.

Well Actually plenty of people who have never obeyed Acts 2:38 have already been saved.
Let us start with Noah, then Abraham, Righteous Lot, Isaac, Jacob, Job, David, all the prophets and many more.
and yes they lived a holy life, with a beard.

Since the day of Pentecost NO ONE has been saved or will be saved who has not obeyed Acts 2:38 salvation.

As for the whiskers. Didn't say it was a sin, didn't say they could not come to church. But they could not be in any leadership role or be a member here. Down the road is a different story.

wadr, what i hear you saying, when you say that, is that no one who does not agree to your definition of Acts 2:38 salvation--most likely including the addendum that most Pents seem to want to add (to Scripture) on--can have fellowship with you, as you have condemned them. As has already been pointed out, many will be saved who have not heard Acts 2:38. How do you answer this? ty

Everyone here knows here I am a big time promoter of Acts 2:38 as the ONLY plan of salvation for us today....But I wonder your views on this question. It is the kind of question people ask that we dare not answer. Can you?(I have an answer)
