I agree with this. I have spent a great deal studying Preterism and still never came to an understanding on it. There are sooooo many different versions. I cannot escape the fact that the Bible also clearly teaches a thousand year millennial reign.
I do only believe in one Second coming though. Not two phases.
It's not important enough for me to debate...as long as we can agree Jesus is coming back. My pastor and I share slightly different views and he was very clear "You have a right to study and figure out what you believe on it....just don't get stuck on it".
