Its not sad at all. Thank God he wants to reach the lost and doesn't want to shut up the Kingdom of God against men because of man made rules and traditions. I applaud him. Do you doubt he's been in prayer and in deep soul searching over this issue? Do you think he'd make sure a move without careful consideration?

THE SAD THING IS YA'LLS PHONY LOVE which only loves someone as long as they keep all your traditions no different than the Pharisees and their oral law. Now that Steve Pixler is wanting to reevaluate everything through scripture he's going to be demonized. Keep your Republican and Democratic like love. True Christians ought to love each other in spite of differences. He's not teaching false doctrine, he's not saying homosexuals can be saved while living that lifestyle or that Muslims can be saved as such. He's not denying the exclusivity of Jesus Christ for salvation, nor His deity or humanity or baptism in His name. He's not even denying the need for holiness, godliness and spiritual growth. He is simply saying that God can save a woman despite her ear rings or a pair of pants and that is the height of offense and insult to some of you neo pharisees.

Its the same spirit of offense the pharisees had when Jesus entered Matthews house and ate with his friends or when Jesus pardoned the woman caught in adultery that deserved to be stoned to death. You guys are offended at the love and grace of God unless its shown to people who clean up and look the way YOU think they should.

Can't you see the real enemies of the cross are those who forbid people to come to Jesus over rules and traditions they made themselves? Instead of mourning Steve Pixler why not consider reevaluating the scripture and the cross?

Do you really think that God walked among us as a man and willingly subjected himself to the horrors and agony of the cross in order to satisfy His righteous justice while at the same time revealing His amazing love for SINNERS only to send someone to a burning hell over a pair of pants, an earring , or fingernail polish?

THAT RIGHT THERE IS SAD.

I refuse to preach it if it is not in the Bible.
The Bible, the Bible, the bible, and only the Bible.

Forget the traditions of men.

That's how I felt when I listened.

That took a lot of courage.

A bit of an over-reaction, I believe.

What's sad is when this man preaches about spending the past 6 months praying, yet because some of you don't agree with what he said you call him poor, say it's sad and claim "he's gone." What's sad is this gives fuel to the one's here who claim that if you question certain beliefs you're ostracized or condemned by those who claimed to be a friend or brother before.

He wants to believe what's in the Bible and preach what's in the Bible. What's so sad, or poor or "gone" about that? We need more Pastor's to preach the word and stop adding their personal beliefs to it!

smh

He didn't even say he was giving up standards, for crying out loud.
