Re: All Trinitarians are Lost!!!!!!!!!!!

With the logic that some are using, just about everyone baptized prior to 1913 would be in hell.

This is simply preposterous!

With this logic, the only people in heaven would be Apostolics, and even then, not even half because everyone knows that not everyone who attends church on Sunday mornings is really saved.

Preposterous!

At least the jw's have a reconciliation prize for those who are not part of the elite 144,000-- the new earth.

What reconciliation prize do some on this thread offer?

Not to mention that it brings into question the importance of using the right form of His name. Because Jesus is (to quote wikipedia) the Latin form of the Greek version of the hebrew name....

I mean, lets be honest, those who sat at His feet....didn't call him "Jesus", so it seems kind of ridiculous to think that he would demand itas a condition for salvation...

Re: All Trinitarians are Lost!!!!!!!!!!!

Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Php 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

While it seems others want to minimize His name.
I can NOT praise Him enough!
I can not worship him enough!
I can not thank him enough that He chose to reveal His great name to me.
All hail the power in Jesus name!
It's not magical.
It's not just repetition.
It's really awesome to be able to praise and worship the one true God and to personally know His saving name was called over me in water baptism

Listen, I believe in baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ. However, if we are discussing the justification of this doctrine using the "whatever you do in word or deed..." scripture, then we are mistaken.

So, explain it to me.

Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
