You remind me of people like Anna Wintour who are appalled that we don't bow down to their cultural norms that they bring to the fashion industry.
You aren't really allowing the Spirit to lead a woman when you term serving in politics, entertainment or public life as the "norm" for makeup, but a cashier doesn't have to live up to these expectations. You've already put these women into "your" view and cultural box.

I just have a hard time believing the the Holy Spirit gives a flip about a woman wearing makeup whatever her vocation might be. I certainly don't see it in the bible.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Emma would be pleased to know that we get our bacon from a Mennonite and and two Amish farmers. We have our own chickens for the eggs.

Do the neighbors in the other apartments complain about the chickens?

We buy our beef and chicken right now from a supplier called Zaycon Foods. http://www.zayconfoods.com The meat comes directly from the farm, to you, never frozen. You meet the truck at a decided location in your community, and they hand you a box of fresh, never frozen organic meat that comes in 10-pound bags, which I then take home and package according to our family's use. It is awesome. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is wanting to get high quality, fresh organic meat at reasonable prices.

We eat venison, killed by my husband, butchered by us.
We are thinking about trying this organic place for our poultry and they also do bison meat.

I can see where the Holy Spirit may convict someone about makeup. I believe the Holy Spirit could convict us of just about anything we do in our daily lives (even eating bacon )
However, to make a blanket statement that makeup is wrong and sinful... is wrong, in my opinion. Let the Holy Spirit do the convicting, instead of issuing a mandated rule that just begs to be broken, which is human nature to do so.

Is there an advantage to "never frozen"?
