Open Letter to Pastors
I personally would like to see these PASTORS get involved in debating folks about all of the other doctrines that are being taught here and not just "standards". I have seen very few of these pastors stray off the subject of standards into other debates. If they want to win somebody, major doctrines that folks have "strayed" from is a better choice. They may even get a little credibility in the process...

Re: Open Letter to Pastors
Well if the church fathers were here, they would be fixing the major doctrines, not facial hair and such. These guys do not represent the original Apostolic church teachings very well.

I have been promoting foundation doctrine here for years Bro.
Post trib rapture.
Soul Sleep.
Annihilation of the wicked.
Biblical Discipleship.
Entire sanctification.
Trying to help build the foundation, as the Oneness Pentecostals already have established Oneness doctrine and Acts 2:38 as essential.
Just trying to do my part to help.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Lots more truth in this statement than a lot of OP pastors would like to admit.

If the truth be known, they probably see you guys as so insignificant as to deserve an explanation.
