That is an awesome comparison - maybe you could make a PDF visual of that

I am not sure my original question was ever answered.

I appreciate this BUT I know of at least one UPCI Pastor and there were a few others on here that I thought held to the notion that Jesus Christ is distinctly the Son of God and not the Father.

I wanted to read their logic again.

However I find your use of the ice cream to be interesting.

John 1:2 states the same was in the begining with God. While the previous verse establishes the Son of God as indeed God, the 2nd verse establishes a distinction and separation.

To refer to the Neapolitan ice cream, Vanilla, Strawberry and Chocolate are indeed ice cream. Yet the Vanilla is not the Strawberry and etc. This is a more accurate description of God than the Vanilla-Chocolate Swirl.

First of all, there is only one flavor of ice cream-- Vanilla. The swirls are not swirls of multiple flavors, but only one other flavor-- Chocolate. This is not an accurate representation of the God at all.

I put it simply. I believe that Jesus was a man... who was also God. A man who was one with God. Therefore, Jesus is both man and God.

Awesome!

But do you believe Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, is the Father?

One with the Father is not the same as BEING the Father.

If a man were one with God... would he just be himself... or would he also be God? Hmmm.

It depends upon in what sense we're considering.
One with God indicates unity-- a unity that implies a certain sense of individuality, that is given up, surrendered, for the sake of the relationship.

One cannot be with himself. One can be alone. One can be united with someone else, but one cannot be with himself.

So I ask do you believe Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, is the Father?

Michael the Disciple believes Jesus Christ is the Father, citing the KJV translation of Isaiah 9:6.

Is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, the FATHER?

If Jesus Christ the Son of God is the Father, of what or of whom is He the Father?

Excellent point. I believe that the man Jesus Christ, the Son of God isn't the Father as it relates to the fact that He is an authentic human being like you and me. However, Jesus might be said to also be the Father, only by virtue of the Oneness He shares with the Father.
