Were your modern day scholars you use, part of the Recieved Text scholars in 1611 or are they from recent years of modern translators?

They are HEBREW SCHOLARS period!

Did you know the KJV was WRONG in some parts of translation? Want me to give an obvious example?

I am guessing you think the KJV translators were in the same mindset as the modern guys, Right?

The Hebrew Lexicon I used is NOT A RECENT work. James Strong made it in the late 1800's.
Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries
Dictionaries of Hebrew and Greek Words taken from Strong's Exhaustive Concordance by James Strong, S.T.D., LL.D., 1890.

Wrong only to a reprobate that has no true translation of ANY Bible. They themselves become the authority over Gods word and say there is no TRUE word of God.

Okay, explain this!

Acts 12:4 KJV And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

Do you believe EASTER is the CORRECT translation?

I believe the new versions are perversions. I really do! And I preach from the KJV 99% of the time. But the KJV IS NOT FLAWLESS either.

Re: Apostolic But Not Believing Jesus is The Fathe

THE MAJORITY TEXT or the RECEIVED TEXT, also called the TEXTUS RECEPTUS, has the Greek word "pascha" in Acts 12:4.

IT IS NOT CORRECTLY TRANSLATED AS EASTER. IT IS PASSOVER, you KJV translator knuckleheads. lol

They BLEW it there.

pas'-khah
Of Chaldee origin (compare [H6453]); the Passover (the meal, the day, the festival or the special sacrifices connected with it):

PASCHA PASCHA PASCHA!!! Not Easter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like I said Mike, you did not live 500 years ago, nor your modern scholars.

These "nuckleheads" knew more than you will ever know about translating the Bible.

Re: Apostolic But Not Believing Jesus is The Fathe

PASCHA in Greek is from the HEBREW WORD PESACH, and it doesn't mean EASTER!:
H6453
פּסח
pesach
peh'-sakh
From H6452; a pretermission, that is, exemption; used only technically of the Jewish Passover (the festival or the victim): - passover (offering).

Exodus 12:11 KJV+ And thusH3602 shall ye eatH398 it; with your loinsH4975 girded,H2296 your shoesH5275 on your feet,H7272 and your staffH4731 in your hand;H3027 and ye shall eatH398 it in haste:H2649 itH1931 is the LORD'SH3068 passover.H6453

Sean. was Moses really talking about the LORD' EASTER? Or PASSOVER?

The KJV translators blew it in Acts 12:4, Sean.

THE GREEK AND HEBREW in the Textus Receptus is correct, BUT NOT THE ENGLISH in the KJV translation of Acts 12:4.
