Spiritual sewer called "Apostolic Friends Forum"
« on: August 03, 2010, 04:48:29 PM » Pray with me that God would curse the filth running the "apostolic friends" message board who censored me for preaching the truth (NOT the one on FB) and bring that Satanic stronghold of spiritual whoredom down!
I can't believe some of the spiritual scum that are passing for "apostolic" these days!!!

Does this sound like a Christian, and were they talking about this forum?
lol. good 'ole Steve Winter. He uses words like he's cussing, but just technically correct enough to excuse himself from saying he actually cusses at people.

(how many 'miss Scarlett's do we have here? I thought we had an admin w/that screen name?) Anyway, yes, it unfortunately sounds like many Christians, who believe they are called to defend their conception of God. And yes, here. One wonders if Mr Winters is not also Bert?

Re: Shocked to Find This While Browsing.
I don't know of any other Miss Scarlett, and I neither know Bert, or do I know Steve Winter. When I was Browsing for AFF, I came across this and thought it strange.
I will admit, I don't like a lot of the things some believe and post here, but this was a little to the extreme even to me, and sometimes I am even a bit too honest.
but I just leave for a while and then come back, bcause believe it or not, I actually like some of you. LOL

There is no admin by the name of "miss Scarlet" and never has been.

Titus2woman on AFF
"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Miss Scarlet, not sure what you may or may not know about the fellow in question but you should know he is not a new personality in the world of internet "christian boards"
in fact he is an early adopter and was involved in quite a dustup years ago on one of the very first versions.
at the end of that episode, he actually brought legal action against actual real Christians and caused no end of trouble for some folk. in the end he lost his case, but that has not slowed his (un)-"righteous indignation".
He is not someone anyone ought to engage. his version of christianity is ugly and mean and designed to feed his own lust and self-righteousness.
It seems a post here suggests that the poster "Bert" that tried to gain ground here and who has been banned is in fact SW.
If that is the case, let me offer my sensere thanks to Admin for banning Bert. (not that I wasnt already thankful for berts removal before that bit of info was uncovered).
If I were to offer advice concerning the fellow in question, it would be to stear well clear. He has already proven willing to cause no end of trouble to those who he has crossed paths with.

I don't know him Ferd, and don't expect to at all. He reminds me of one of my husbands old uncles who thought he was the only one who was going to heaven, with his outlandish outlook. He lambasted me in my in laws home years ago before I left the Baptist Church and I was so shocked and taught to respect my elders, I had nothing to say. I would not do it again today, because I had no respect for the man then.
