ah well that was my bad--i've no idea what he believes or preaches. the 'fresh air' comment just resonated. for that matter, he might be quite legalistic, and still a saint! To each their own.

Brother Jermyn Davidson,

You can tell a tree by its fruit Luke 6:44 .

Jesus did say Judge using righteous judgment. John 7:24

I think we all try our best at that, even you with your comment are doing the same, "Sounds like you're judging this man"

Chill Bruh,
J.A. Perez

and shazeep. I am saddened by this.
You knew it, eh? You don't know jack about me, son. Don't get all up on your high horse trying to pretend you think you know me. Arrogance and pride is a sin.

You need some sound, Biblical teaching. First, claiming God sent Peter to be Cornelius' Pastor, and now posting some OT law which has no relevance to the discussion.

Back when I was with the UPC, they had recently left and had a rep for not fellowshipping with anyone. I doubt they're part of any organization. But that was a decade ago, so I may be wrong on that.

Luke 6:41, 42 is for you. You can't see anyone's fruit with that beam in your eye.

Key words being "righteous judgement," which your current posts lack.

Re: Is the Bible all you need for your morality?

I grew up in an AMF church as did my husband. Someone from that group doesn't even have to tell me what church they are in or who they fellowship, but their language betrays them - all the "man of God" references etc.

Don't get me wrong. There is important 5-fold ministry in the body of Christ, but it is not all tied up in one man, like they believe.

Hey,
I resent that, the AMF of the past and present are honorable men I agree. But they aren't the only ones that hold to a strict Biblical interpretation of the Grace of God that pulls you out of sin and into the safety net of the church.
The Apostles taught that, We believe that too. The closest AMF church from us is about500 miles away. We don't post up with those gentlemen.

preached years ago, "Ignorance is NOT bliss."

Wow, I was starting to like you word. geeeee

Bro. J. - Your language is certainly very familiar to the same type of talk I heard growing up around the AMF churches, and most of the names you mentioned - Meades, Garretts, etc. I recognize and know them from the past AMF fellowships. So... if the shoe fits, you can wear it I guess...

Sorry if this connection made you dislike me, lol!
