Anyone else have reasons to believe we will spend eternity in haven based upon what scripture?

um, the current heaven and earth (material plane, iow) "dissolved?" I am always skeptical of these 'God waving His miraculous wand' interpretations, wadr. The scary thing to me is that this one makes it ok to trash the planet, since "God is going to make us a new one anyway."  quoted from this forum.

The Apocalypse says God will destroy those who destroy the earth. There is no biblical justification for "trashing the planet" as we are called and ordained to manage God's property as good stewards.
