Another perspective.
Hebrews 4 listed sabbath day and even the entrance into Canaan as TWO FORMS OF REST. But the writer still said there was a REST that God's people never yet enjoyed. In other words, it's not sabbath day nor even entrance into the promised land. It's an eternal rest. We cease from human efforts to sustain a relationship with God and allow the word to remove the unbelief from our hearts like a sword, and enter the most holy place where Jesus is our high priest and sit with him on the mercyseat, kick back, and enjoy HIS SPIRIT WORKING IN OUR LIVES.
It's not a sabbath day but a sabbath LIFESTYLE forevemore. An eternal sabbath that the day and the entrance into Canaan merely foreshadowed.
