It would have been even greater had it been a full General Assembly with heads of state in attendance. But it's still incredible, even with all the empty seats. This may have been the only time the UN Secretary General or General Assembly President have heard the message of the new birth. And who knows what could happen to the many sitting in the meeting room and others watching online.
Even if only one low-level delegate sitting in attendance and hearing the message is saved, it's well worth it. |
