Exactly. I suspect a new constitution would be designed to give legal cover to abuses already in play by the time it was produced, stuff happening now and worse things that the wicked have on their planning boards.

And lest anyone think such things can't happen, read Solzhenitsyn. They all couldn't believe what was happening either.
