Don't forget that the Spanish in Spain is VERY different from the Spanish in the Latino countries close to us. Castillion (sp.) Spanish sounds way different than Puerto Rico or Mexico. Even between Costa Rica and Guatemala, there was a lot of difference, especially in local terms.

She should expose herself to both ... Castillian and the Spanish of the Americas.

Yeah, that's what the prof said. She has already been exposed to Castillion.
BTW, my daughter is with me and laughing at the different streams of this thread.
