This has been the law of the land since the 1860's ... we went through the largest influx of European immigrants ever recorded in human history ... and now that the MEXICANS are coming ... we need to change the law granting citizenship to natural born babies. ... uggggggh.

It isn't who is coming, caniel, it is the sheer numbers, the way they are coming (illegally) and the drain on our economy.

The dynamics of immigration now are totally different than in the 1800's when people came here not expecting to root their nose in the government subsidized trough with benefits that citizens don't even have access to.

it seems gov't ... is our problem ... we hold that power ... there seems to be insistence that those that come here ... come for entitlements when in fact most work full time jobs .. some hold 2-3 jobs.

Secure the border ... phase those that are illegal in ... help solve our Social Security mess while we're at it ... or you will have paid into SSI for naught ....

So what was the march all about, then? Jobs? Nope. It was about ENTITLEMENT! You just said "most work full time jobs .. some hold 2-3 jobs." Yet there were hundreds and thousands marching last year for one thing . . . not jobs . . . they were demanding the benefits of citizens. ie They demanded this because they feel entitled to it.

Si se puede . . . not a demand for jobs. It's a demand to give all ILLEGALs the benefits that comes with being a US Citizen.

Here we go again . . . "biased ridden." What, and YOU'RE not being biased here? You can't admit that the marches were exactly about what I wrote above. It wasn't about jobs. It wasn't about freedom.

It was all about entitlement. They marched to demand equal rights as citizens. They marched to demand that Congress reward their law-breaking actions and grant them amnesty.
