I already admitted that it was problematic and that I needed to grow in these areas.

I'm not confused. I'm just telling you what I experienced. I'm a better Christian because of it.

You will find as you age that everyone's own perception of themselves is their own reality. Yet, we are not tethered to own own perceptions, but we must navigate the narrow way to pass through the tight opening which leads to eternal life. While you believe you are better, you will see that it is only a band-aid on a bullet wound. Time proves all things, and I just pray that you are able to pull out of the slow dive.

You can't grow amongst the blind. We all need sighted leadership, those who know the way. In all my tribulations within the movement that I love, I would never seek the embrace of a Trinitarian.

Hey, that's your call, your free will to do as your very well please.
That is why we have a plethora of religions, schisms, and sects to choose from. People have to have what they want, and they always get what they deserve.
Have fun.

In foreign lands, in combat, in times of peace, some of my closest friends have been Trinitarians.
The Lord has used their fellowship, their music, even some of their exposition on some of their scriptures to encourage my growth and walk with the Lord.
And in at least one crucial area of every day life, the Lord used a Trinitarian Pentecostal church to reach me.
To suggest that only Oneness Pentecostals can provide "sighted leadership" does not match up with what I have lived and experienced. Your suggestion is baloney and it is arrogant.
You might as well just plainly state that Trinitarians are lost and on their way to hell. That IS what you believe, isn't it?
There are a multitude of problems with that logic. One problem that I'll point out is that by Oneness Pentecostal doctrine, NO CHRISTIAN can be possibly saved outside of Oneness Pentecostals and that argument is nonsense.

JD, I have heard the same arguments concerning other religions, sexual persuasions, food addictions, the mantra never changes. It is all self justifying. I had a friend growing up who was a Christian, and one day he found a dollar bill with Menachem Mendel Schneerson's picture where George Washington was supposed to be, somewhere on the bill was a number to call? I don't remember, but to make a long story short, he ended up going to the Lubavitch, and converting. He then denounced Jesus Christ and the New Testament. Yet, he said that they helped him, find true happiness. That friend was Baptist. Another friend AoG ended up meeting the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, he was amazed that they were giving things away, and never asking for anything in return. He said that "his" experience in Churchanity wasn't anything like the ISKCON. So, the song remains the same JD, just stick in whatever religion or ism you please, and the song has the same melody.
I'm arrogant?
That's because I don't agree with you, and wish you luck as you navigate among the rocks.
I pray that you snap out of the honey hugging stage with the Trinitarians, and go back where to the people you say you love and miss.

Re: Moving To Cleveland!
EB,
You displayed arrogance by implying that a Trinitarian can't provide "sighted leadership" because they were Trinitarian. That is simply not true.
However, you bring up a valid point about the Baptist guy and the A/G guy and their subjective experiences.
Ultimately, we all need to be guided by the Bible for our decisions.
