Re: Moving To Cleveland!
When David's men were calling for Shimei's head, he told them to back off, presuming that perhaps it was the Lord who had sent Shimei to curse him.
When God was looking for an opportunity against the Philistines, he led Samson down a path that didn't make sense or agree with established Torah tradition.
God called Isaiah to wander the land naked as a symbol of the prophetic words the Lord gave him to speak.
I could go on.
The point is, we do well to not stand in God's place to say what or how He may be leading a person, especially one of His own. What we may assume to be wrong or ungodly or unbiblical may be something the Lord is doing that we don't or can't possibly understand.
Things that are impossible with man are possible with God. He brings camels through the eyes of needles all the time.
So why not just let JD rise and fall to His own master without denouncing him?
