One person that is showing up in many of the news stories of the UCC shooting in Oregon is the daughter of the UPCI pair in Roseburg.
I was reading a news article in my local paper and thought "they look like Apostolics". Later in the article it quoted her dad and made mention that he was a pastor. Sure enough when I did a search my initial impression was confirmed. My heart goes out to all touched by this tragedy.
Gee, they just had some "active shooter" drills a week earlier. How convenient. Folks, if there are any of these types of drills in your area, be vigilant, these drills seem to always be quickly followed by "the real deal".
