I think it's great when I hear and see that these people are not living high on the hog. How far away are we from true Apostolic Christianity when they had ALL things in common, many of us have so little in common. They divided goods to distribute to those that have need. I wish I had the money some of these Pastors of mega churches have to bless othres, however I am not so sure having it would not change me :-(
Common as in community. The early church was communial they all lived together and shared everything. No gated community, no little old ladies eating cat food while the mega preacher is eating at Ruth's Chris.

If that $1500 suit last longer than a couple dozen suits from K-mart, why wouldn't you go with the better suit.

Food for thought, what price do you put on costly array? Is there a set dollar amount before an article of clothing becomes costly array, or is this another subjective definition like your apostolic?
I bought my suits NOT at Wal-Mart but at places like Penny's and Macy's...I buy them ON sale only. I bought a nice jacket from a place called Burlingtons Coat factory..I can tell you NEVER EVER has my suits, jackets or pants, come close to $1500.....never....and they last quite well. I never bought the argument that you have to spend a lot of money like that for something that will last. People that wear Rolex watches try to make that argument too, but I can tell you I have had plenty of watches under $100 that did not fall apart.

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

A baloney sandwich may not have saved someone from a burning hell, but it helps to keep the stomach from growling when presenting someone with Acts 2:38...

One of the reasons the Whites are "in' with Donald Trump is because of the White's involvement in real estate.

The Tampa Bay Tribune says
Quote:
Most of the couple's personal income comes from private businesses, including a real estate company, sales of nutritional supplements and speaking engagements, he said... Financial accountability is overseen by a five-member board: the Whites; Chief Financial Officer Norva Carrington; Alick Clark of Acton, Calif.; and Zachery Tims of Windermere.
The board reports to an 18-member council - its members selected by the board.

Instead of hiding behind a news article, why not go ahead and tell us at what dollar amount would YOU begin to consider something as costly array? I don't care what Forbes defines as costly array. What do you define as costly array. And are you assuming that Randy and Paula White have those brands in their closet?

TV1a, do you understand what Forbes Magazine is? Do you know who reads Forbes Magazine? Now if you do understand those people who read Forbes are saying that those prices are EXPENSIVE.

God bless you real good.
