Realistically.

You know they saw Jesus come at Pentecost, right?

Re: Some standing here
Thanks, I wanted you to ask....
Jesus is the Holy Ghost, right?
Jesus showed up VISIBLY and sat on each of them......
Acts 2
2 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
This was a PHYSICAL manifestation of Jesus Himself(Holy Ghost).
Now for the Kingdom part....
Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Therefore, you see a physical manifestation of Jesus Himself and the Kingdom of God comes to them as they recieve the Holy Ghost on the day of Pentecost.

I am not crazy enough to mock this passage.
I believe in the supernatural things of God.

I dare say, most futurist would think you done went and bumped yo head, if you really think there is a literal sword coming out of His mouth. Most at least have learned to apply at least a minimal about of Biblical language and know what the sword and even fire represent.

Re: Some standing here
Anyone that diminishes from the words that describe Jesus' return and his manifestations to the sinner world, simply does not believe that He is capable of doing what we read about.

again, you mischaracterize the preterist position, why is that? I could much more easily present the case that it is you who diminish The Revelation by reducing it to some physical confrontation. Stop being ridiculous. All of the "elements" are laden with significance, and will surely occur, but not in any one-dimensional, physical way. These are spiritual concepts, the blood, the white horse, the sword, all that. God is not going to ride in on a horse shooting laser beams lol

So based on your response, you are saying that Acts 2:3 is the fulfillment of Matt.16:28, correct?
“Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”
Acts 2:3
3 Then there appeared to them cloven tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.
Please explain to me how they visibly saw the son of man in Acts 2 with their own eyes. And where does it say that?
