Now, if you want to make the City Itself, look like people....you must use METAPHORS!

You quoted a definition saying metaphors are literary phrases, not what you are saying here at all. You're not sticking with your own quoted definitions.

Are you setting it up for your metaphors?
Now that you are attacking the passage and attempting to make it look as if it was written wrong, you can re-invent the new meaning of it as you so slyly do.
I have figured out your system of divide and conquer.

Jesus did not say there shall be some "of you" standing here, that has not taste death and he did not say when it would happen.
"Of the whole church we shall not all die but they shall all be change ...", this is about the catching away, which preterists are confused about.
Only those who are ready shall see the Christ at that time, unbelievers shall not.
