There it is, Israel is going to be the banner, revealed in the same verse.

Sean, you posted that Israel is a BANNER today.
I then asked you to prove that it was a banner of God as it is written in the Bible. You then backpedal and then said it WILL BE?

Wow you think that those verses help your position you are deluded. I pointed out those verses because they show several things that scripture says will be in place which are not in place by your literal interpretation. And you think the paltry nation of Israel is a banner to the world today?
A banner of what?
It sure is not a banner of God!
And world politics? You don't have a clue the meaning of world politics and you tell me to put my head in the sand. Your the one that his head is so far in the sand that the only thing showing are your hind quarters.

Loren, every time we see Israel in the headlines, the "banner" we are reading or hearing about, that God has shown mankind, is telling us that His soon return is imminent.
Netanyahu addressing the congress of the most powerful nation in the world is IN OUR FACES!
Every time I hear big things coming from Israel, I think of the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ.

Sean, if that is helping you stay ready for Jesus, keeping your life clean, treating your Brother right, if that is the basis of your relationship with Jesus then keep walking for Him according to the rapture teaching.
Jokingly.... hopefully He will deal with you more on tithing....
But others do see it in a different light. Many of us have come from there and see a deeper relationship then fear.
We believe in Acts 2:38.
We believe in Gifts of the Spirit
Some here have stronger holiness stands than others but most adhere to some seperation from the world.
The only difference is that we do not walk in fear.

So, now they are currently a banner as written in Isaiah 11:12? I thought you recanted that and went with the interpretation that Isaiah 11:12 was future? Every time you hear what coming from Israel? Hey, if a bunch of people start calling themselves Hittites do you think they can move into Turkey and create their own country so the world will start calling them Hittites?

He has, He revealed to me to stop tithing and tell others it is a sham.

Anyway, you said that Israel was an ensign to the nations now, and then you changed that to the future. So, what is it? Is Isaiah 11:12 speaking of Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel now, or is it for a future far off group of Jews who are not even born yet?
