The New Jerusalem, comes out of an area of heaven to another area of heaven...
It does not LEAVE heaven.

There's nothing about coming out of a part of heaven that is mentioned like the balcony. The city came out of heaven, period. If your wife came out of the church, she would not be in the church. The city came out of heaven so is not in heaven any more.
