Is there a Chance that AFF is going the way of GNC? I've noticed recently that the forum is nearly inactive at times, after all, what is there left to discuss?

I have n idea what GNC is. I think the discussion about hypostatic union is very interesting. When I get stumped on the biography I am writing about Harry Isaac Morse, AFF members help me out.

I'll be honest. I don't care much for this forum. To see it die would not hurt my feelings in the least. I think it is very dangerous, especially to new converts. I would, however, like to see several threads archived because there is a lot of history that has been hashed out and I don't want to see it lost. If it is rebirthed, I hope certain guidelines would become clearly established and enforced more, such as respect for Apostolic Doctrine.

ah, well, i'm not sure what you mean by "Apostolic Doctrine," but i think every generation will inevitably reinterpret that anyway...with some lack of reverence. Wadr don't your hopes more or less describe the OP church? What better venue for exploration than an internet forum? What you describe sounds a lot like GNC to me; and don't get me wrong, they were universally respectful people.

But contention works for the faith, by holding up a mirror to your premises. I love OPs; the vast majority are seeking God, and practice the Golden Rule. As a religion, however, it benefits from tearing down of some walls, as all religions do.
