I recall a young lad had tied a mop end around a dog and ran in the house screaming there's a lion in the front yard... His Dad and the whole family (all 11 of them ran out) and there was the dog with mop end around it's neck...
His Dad said Son... You lied to us... You need to go up to your room and repent.. and when you feel that the Lord has suffeciently forgiven you.. then you can come back downstairs...
The boy showed back up downstairs a few minutes later...
"Son" the Dad said... "Has the Lord forgiven you?"
"Yes".. the Boy replied... "and also He told me when he first saw it..
He thought it was a lion too"...
