I can't discuss admin's discussions and actions but I feel I must comment on this to defend those who were other admins at the time. I never got the feeling they "liked the fact DA was flamethrowing at the OP's on the board".

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

So, maybe the better question is why DA was allowed to do what he DO.

Another question (perhaps not better) is where did DA find the time to post all that? Thousands upon thousands of posts.

Another reason for forum's dying down is facebook. Everyone is on facebook

Yea, multiple causes. Facebook, mass conservative exodus. Many of the more liberal posters no longer post here.

I'll correct myself. Facebook has groups. They (can) function as forums.

You are correct that is a better question. However one that will not be discussed here as it is against the rules to question admin or for admins to discuss their private conversations about the forum.
That means this line of conversation needs to end here.
