Re: Dialogue with a Muslim

You have not demonstrated where i have been wrong yet, except in your mind; so "wrong again" is just more serving yourself, i think. But i am not saying you are wrong.

You would have to omit that one is saved who "holds out to the end," never mind what your def of "washing and regeneration" is, which def i would dispute with you anyway, as long as you spew like the news and pretty much every other American does. Anyone can use part of the Bible to justify anything, so what.

... right. Even no requirement of faith in Son of God or crucifixion of Jesus.

Re: Dialogue with a Muslim

i'm not saying that you might not be right, but surely all the many who cry "Lord, Lord" would agree with you. Which is better? Which is the surer path to self deception? Which path is the more self serving?

The one where a person makes all sorts of claims, then when asked to prove their claims they try to back pedal?

I dunno, you tell me?

Even Jesus said here is a situation where it's possible that people are condemned already, and he need not condemn anyone when he speaks truth. He said God judged them.

Are Christians called to "dialogue" with heretics?

No, it's a waste of time.
There are more important things to do.
It's one of the reasons many good people have left this forum.

Whether that nation, or that person or circumstance, is real or hypothetically
described; whether that nation is Syria or Libya, or Mexico or Guatemala, it
portrays the natural (sinful) mind in the natural (sinful) ways of this world.
As long as people reject the counsel of the Living God to react in their sinful
and unrighteous ways to become as hateful as those around them, we will always
have "...wars and rumors of wars."
