I do not mean this to say that having an Acts 2:38 experience cannot lead one to salvation; not at all. Even with a little forcing of the Holy Spirit to provide "utterance," like a strong man. Even though our tongues is glossololia, and not xenoglossy. Even when you feel compelled to get re-baptized. Even though...lol.

But at some point--and i suggest that "Everyone who does not talk about Jesus like i do is lost, especially when they start going on about how God is Love" is a pretty good point--it just becomes easier to admit that perhaps you have entered into a self-serving contract, like men are prone to do. Like i did.

If you have the goods, Scripture describes the results; your "borders" will be expanding, you children will be blessed, fruitful, many other clues. But when you have lost the goods--and who would say that the OP of today is the same as Azusa St?--you will get the other clues; your borders are collapsing, your children are dying before their parents, and they cannot have children of their own, etc. Judge by the fruit.

If your borders are expanding, and you are blessed going and coming, then obviously i am not talking to you, and i say by all means, keep doing what you are doing.
Where shazeep bailed out on the discussion, then forgot he did, and today said we won't deal with all a scripture. Try again from the start, shazeep. Or will you bluff out of it again and bail?

I have posted this countless times here, and have yet to be asked to prove it. Not one time. It would be my first question.
To which I replied...

see that "i'll be your huckleberry" is bailing from the outset, though, Mike--it is "ok, i'll humor you," right? (btw, who is "we?")

No bail implied. I was serious, regardless of what that phrase means to you.

no... more the reasonable human position.

vapid beyond belief .

The very idea that anyone opposes unvetted Syrian migration because a single person killed 9 folk over there is asinine. It is utterly vapid and it is dishonest ON PURPOSE AND FOR A PURPOSE.

If you believe that pile of junk, then in my humble opinion there is something wrong with you and you need to see someone about it.

Re: Dialogue with a Muslim

what a humble guy you are, ty.

for my part, i can admit that the post does not exactly reflect my position, either; but it is the position of many, and your scoffing makes it no less so.

well there you go.

glad that doesn't reflect your viewpoint.

its not one worth a plugged nickel. and those that do see it that way do so from the American lazy idiocy that seems to permeate society.

its ignorant on its face.

The fact is ISIS has stated they were going to send terrorists among the refugees. Every single time these people have said they were going to do something they do it.

allowing them in without vetting properly is suicide. not because these poor people aren't good enough, rather because the bad guys just told us what they were going to do.

and im in a bad mood today. my potassium is low so im eating bananas. I hate bananans. I mean I really hate them. its the only food that I don't like. they taste nasty.

im eating them.

im already mad.

Re: Dialogue with a Muslim

ya, potassium is a pain

we were just discussing it earlier; here are all of the choices with more than a banana--kind of revealing

Winter squash, cubed, 1 cup, cooked: 896 mg
Sweet potato, medium, baked with skin: 694 mg
Potato, medium, baked with skin: 610 mg
White beans, canned, drained, half cup: 595 mg
Yogurt, fat-free, 1 cup: 579 mg
Halibut, 3 ounces, cooked: 490 mg
100% orange juice, 8 ounces: 496 mg
Broccoli, 1 cup, cooked: 457 mg
Cantaloupe, cubed, 1 cup: 431 mg
Banana, 1 medium: 422 mg

can't imagine how I'd get the recommended 5g a day, though! I hardly eat that much in 3 days
