I've never had natural, but I'm sure I can understand WHY you said this...I wont go into specifics..but the recovery time is worse with a c-section...it's major surgery and you simply cannot get around like you need to in order to handle to stuff you must deal with after giving birth. Its not a pretty scene. But so worth it b/c you get to lay around and sniff new baby smell all the time
I'd do it again, in a heartbeat.
They could remove my child through my nose with tweezers - they are just that worth it

I have been trying, it feels like I have a bruised or cracked rib but it has to just be her foot up there. It is killing me right now. I hiccupped earlier and screamed out in pain - not fun!!!

My first was NATURAL as natural can be and it was a long painful labor. The contractions were the worst. My water broke and I instantly started having contractions 1 minute apart and it stayed that way for 17 hours and they just got stronger and stronger. I pushed for 2 hours but I don't really remember it being that painful compared to the contractions and the doctor pulling the placenta out - that hurt way more than pushing her out I thought!!! I would love to have this one natural again.

Theresa, I am one of the few that actually had no pain at all. I went into labor at 8:30pm and delivered at 4:23am. I was so blessed! I had no pain and the contractions were 1 min apart the whole time, and they were very intense. But, after my c=sections, I was fine. I was sore but I got up and walked around. I had 3 of them and I was fine. Crazy thing is, now i'm sorta afraid to get my tubes tied. After all I've been thru, now i don't wanna go do a lil thing like this!!!! lol any of yall had it done? I need to!!

The solution is to tell your husband to take care of this part. After all, you had the children. :-)
My husband had a vasectomy with no hesitations. He said it was the least he could do after all I went through.

I always said that after my 3rd I would get my tubes tied however me and my husband both feel that this may be our last but I am not ready to make that decision definite so I guess I will just have to wait another 4 - 5 years and either have another one and get them tied then or go and just get them tied or convince my husband to do his part which he says he will never do - big sissy!!! Men are such wimps!!!

Guys worry so much about all that...afraid it will damage them somehow! We did not have to deal with this problem...after I had my son, I had and IUD...got a terrible infection and could not have anymore babies(we went through every test you can think of trying to have a baby), after trying for about 5 years we gave up and I had Endometriosis and had a full hystorectomey....they left one ovary for hormones....
OH the woes of child bareing....

That's awful!!!! I had a friend who right away from the beginning had a terrible time getting pregnant (after much much testing they found out it was a problem with her husband) but they tried everything and finally something worked. Now the husband doesn't want any more at all and he is dead set on that. I think it was just too stressful for him. I have had a few miscarriages but after my first pregnancy I just figured if it went so well then they all would - this one has been a doozy!! hopefully the labor & delivery will be easier than the first one since the pregnancy hasn't been!!
