Then why trash the bible when a prayer isn't answered for healing for a brother?

God answers ALL prayer.
Yes. No. Or Not Right Now.

A 'fact' is a statement of truth. Therefore, a 'fact' is a truth.
Any attempt to claim 'facts' are not 'truth' or 'true' is an attempt at the fallacy of equivocation, hoping people don't see it but instead get mesmerised by the mumbo jumbo they're smoking into thinking 'Hey, that's heavy, man...'

Does God like crackers and peanut butter?

Facts are truth from a point of view, that may not obtain in other points of view. Facts are statements about the seen, and by definition factual statements cannot be made about the unseen. We have a saying, "truth is stranger than fiction," that reflects this. So there is no attempt at equivocating, but rather pointing out that facts are most often used by us to justify some position, quite often ignoring or suppressing other facts in order to do so.
The facts are that one needs money to survive, needs a job to get money, and needs a car to get to the job; but none of these are truth. If you insist upon facts as truth, don't be surprised when it seems your prayers have not been answered, also; they surely have, but the facts have just blinded you to the truth.
Note in passing that in a court of law the truth is completely irrelevant; it is the facts that people seek.

I think you're missing the forest for the trees.
Truth and fact are often synonymous with some, and so if their intention is truth when they say fact, and truth us what we want, then who cares?

Re: Does God have a father?
Did we decide if God had a father or not?
The Bible says Jesus has a father. Is that the same thing?

Re: Does God have a father?
well, i think the fault in that statement lies with "intention," and how one goes about discerning and disseminating truth. People establish motives, and promote the facts that support these motives, from self-interest. I am not saying that this is a bad thing, it just is what it is. Your facts will reflect your motives. Those refusing to see "truth" are said to be in denial, relying on facts that do not rep the truth, except for them. We see as through an old-fashioned mirror, darkly. We avoid the truth--often with facts.
So truth will generate facts, surely, but it is a fallacy to assume that facts will lead you to truth, as the following two statements show:
You cannot walk on water.
You can walk on water.
One of these is a fact, and the other one is truth.

Re: Does God have a father?
the pitfall is that when you come to accept facts as truth, you can be manipulated by facts.

How does God tie His shoelaces?
