not at all; i don't think human government can even be spiritual, and i think Western Civilization as we understand it has already been effectively overthrown, or at least we should not kid ourselves that we might somehow escape the fate of other empires, if one wants to hold an effective world view.

God did not give Israel a king because it was a good idea, but because it represented the will of the people; and God does not change. We spend a lot of time suggesting how others might find time for God in their lives, rather than pointing out that one might be better served to find time for their lives in God, and i wonder if this worry about what happens next is not just a culmination of God's solemn warning to us in 1Sam8, but if it is not maybe just examining what steps are being advocated here to stop this communist hoard would be instructive.

i mean, if we are fascists calling ourselves a democratic republic, who pay into social security and get social security support in our old age but decry "communism," maybe it is worth noting that the official label really doesn't mean much anyway. Reading between the lines here, the fear might be expressed as a fear of the political will of the people being usurped somehow? Well again, how would that be any different than what we have now, courtesy of Western Civilization and republican democracy? Or, what is it specifically that you fear?

(1) you must admit, that has been the the policy of the US
government since the end of WWII, and about what then President
Eisenhower warned us;
