Yes, it was done outpatient. He didn't have any problems. He was sore as can be expected but other than that he did well.

OH yeah...it needs to balance out....don't hesitate to have a C-section if the doctor recommends it...now days it's much easier and if you have someone to help you when you come home you will do fine...it is a bit harder on recovery because you have an incission...but you and the baby are under a lot less stress...and C-section babes have such beautiful heads because they don't get squeezed...

I did VERY well with the first 3 of my C sections. I recovered in no time.

My 4th son--the stubborn little angel--just did not want to be born. I had ALOT of scar tissue from the first 3 C Sections.

I was 17 years old when I had my first baby. When they suggested a C section I didn't hesitate a bit. I did great with it and the next 2 C sections. By the time I had my 4th I was a nervous wreck. I remember crying and shaking. I don't know WHY I was so nervous!

Offer on our home!

Hi Ladies and RonB!

QE...don't worry too much! My aunt had gestational diabetes and she and the baby were just fine! She and I both had big babies, but never did have to have a c-sec. either.

Well, I have exciting news with a prayer request tied in. We are accepting an offer on our house today! Here's the hitch...our home was built in 1997 and the previous owners told us the siding was "hardiplank type", but it's not and they were very vague about it. The buyers want to send a contracter out to see if it's LP siding....problem is it may be. We have only had to replace two pieces of siding due to cracking beneath windows. The siding has not "failed" as the LP siding back in the 90's were known to do. Please say a prayer that the siding will not hinder the sale of the home!Thank you all...you've all been so supportive! Big hugs!

My cousin had a vasectomy. A couple of years later, he fathered another child with his wife. He declared up and down it could not be his because he'd been fixed. But lo and behold, it is. Looks JUST like him!! In the end, that marriage didn't make it (sadly - well, kinda. She turned Jehovah's Witness, so maybe not so sadly).

Anyhow, in the meantime, he got fixed AGAIN. And then he got a girlfriend. And what do you know - she gets pregnant, too!!! Again, he just "knew" it wasn't his. But DNA don't lie, ya know. So again, it didn't work for him.

Now if I was a female of child-bearing capability, I'd stay out of the same room with him!! LOL

Oh my goodness!!!

This is one of my greatest fears. I have made my husband checked twice in the last 10 years just to make sure everything is still sterile. So far, so good. :-)
