Besides, Jesus wasn't friends with sinners to be like them! He was friends with sinners to help them become like Him.

What is it to be made righteous? I unda-stand that being seperate from sinners and positioning yourself on Gods side, doesn't always mean He is on ours. But the OP was correct in his statements. God is against the ungodly, is he not? And if so, what makes one ungodly is what we are to abstain from, be like, associate with or in fellowship with. For the sake of fellowship.
I just had over all the new families in our church for yard bird BBQ and fellowship, flip flops and all, to reach them and help them to be comfortable with us. Not because I'm looking to be a friend of the world. Quit attacking honest sincere holiness minded people with Pharisee accusations , we are trying like you to evangelize our beach. Come on peeps, God is against the ungodly! Make no mistake about it.
