Myself also.
As Paul stated "I determined to know not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ and him crucified. ".

Re: Universal Dominion = False Doctrine Wowii
I was disturbed by the message and the enthusiasm with which it was received. I am not an elder nor a theologian but a student of the Word and good men of God. What was interesting to me, is that there was a fine Elder in a separate meeting just a few days before that lifted his voice against winds of doctrines that have blown through Pentecost, in which he named Dominion theology. My feelers were out and as soon as the message began, I was uncomfortable with the content and delivery. I could list several phrases and portions of the message that I had issues with, but I will not here. I'm waiting to hear from some elders.

Tell me what he said. As an older guy I'll let you know if it's okay or something to be avoided.

Frankly, I was more troubled by the statement made in another sermon that implied that men with facial hair are going to hell.
I respect the man who said it, but he is wrong.
I have no issue with churches who have a no facial hair policy, indeed my church does.
However, to imply that our "tradition" has now become a biblical doctrine is a dangerous leap.

Heh heh heh.....
I am sure you can get a massage just about anywhere.....
I am sure what you meant to ask for was the message?
Just one little letter can change the whole meaning!!!!

I find it interesting to see the reservations regarding what the young minister preached, especially as he appeared to be "In the Book".
I wonder how many of the men that we regard with honor of the early 1900's were treated with the same reservations when they first preached the Jesus name message that we hold dear today?
I remember reading that when one elder preached on Jesus name baptism in a camp meeting that a "shudder" ran through the crowd!
Is this what we are hearing again?

Thus we see the problem with Pentecost!
