Years ago, I was reading Ezekiel, and I came to chapter 16, then, to verse 3, which reads:
Quote:
And say, Thus saith the Lord God unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite.
I couldn't help but laugh a little. No sooner had I read the verse, then I could hear the voice of a snide, Italian New Yorker in my head saying "Ah, your mother was a Hittite!" (meant as an insult).
Have you ever come across any accidental humor in the Bible?
If so, share!

but I did get a call today from "Microsoft service center" letting me know that they were getting warnings from my computer that it was filled with terrible horrible viruses.
I told the dude that his mother was a Hittite...

"Many Christians do not try to understand what was written in a verse in the Bible. Instead they approach the passage to prove what they already believe."
