Please forgive me but 43 minutes is a lot to deal with right now. So, maybe you could give me the skinny answer concerning the video? Did Swaggart run around in a jogging suit soliciting prostitutes? Or just giving them Bible studies?

OK, I'm listening to this now. I'm doing this Originalist because I like you a great deal. If you have information to share I should be the first one to agree to listen to it.

What difference does it make? Swaggart's teachings are full of egregious error.

Why thank you!
It might seem a little strange to some, but I am kind of a "Swaggart historian". Having been working at JSM and attending JSBC at the time the scandal broke, I feel I have a unique perspective on a major historical and tragic event within Christianity. I understand many will misunderstand or not share my interest in this topic.
The reason this particular video caught my eye is because I know of others who claimed they were threatened over dealings with JSM. (The wording of the last sentence should shield me from any liability).
Trying to find out how and why the prostitute story changed so rapidly is something worth considering.

2 cents
Polygraph tests are notoriously unreliable. People who are telling the truth fail them all the time and people who are liars pass them all the time. The fact that they are still used as some sort of "proof of innocence/guilt or honesty/dishonesty" is more than a little bit ridiculous.

Brother, why don't you just leave this all alone? It is doing nothin but stirring up people's emotions and bringing up the past. You have done this on another forum (COG). May I ask why? ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and FOX would be all over this if there was any truth to it. We don't need any more scandles and running down people. No I am not a big fan of JS. I am not going to watch 43 minutes of National Enquirer or Star Magazine. We need to be encouraging and lifting up people - not putting them down especially for something that happened almost 30 years ago - prostitution, murder or whatever.

God in the bible keeps on bringing on the past, the murder of Abel, the murder by Moses, and many other atrocities that only stir up people's emotions.
God did not hid the scandals of Abraham, the sin of Lot, the adultery of David or any of the other misdeeds of the Bible saints.
Why did God did not simply omit all those bad things that his people did?

I watched it and wonder how many knew of the blonde prostitute?
