I should say it a little differently, because of the stigma about preterism I would not put myself in the camp. I guess I would rather stay out of any camp for that matter. MB, you have been very insightful in some of things you have posted (especially concerning the book of Daniel). If most futurists would hear you out I dare to say that you would have a lot of common ground.
I think many get the idea, Preterism (whether partial of full) that you teach a past resurrection rather than a future. Because of that stigma, I don't want to be categorized with that thinking (whether it is false or not).

i don't either, but my current theory is Christ is only "waiting" for a prepared bride now.

Sooooooooo
If new converts (new BIRTH) are a resulr of the relationship between the Spirit and the Church, is Christ committing fornication with His Bride until the marriage?

The marriage of the Lamb began at Pentecost.
Many analogies in the church.
We are a result of the Spirit working in the Church, thus the new birth.
We, at the New Birth, become the Bride of Christ ready to help New Souls come in.
Yet we also at the new birth become the Body of Christ, the Church.

Yeah, we call it the church.

That is so diabolical that I really don't know where to start in answering it. I guess one analogy that can be used is that the bride is in preparation. Souls being won to the Lord is in preparation for his Return. The Holy Spirit is the dowry paid on the bride. The marriage of the lamb is not past it is future.

Don't worry about stigma. Christ has a stigma and he warned us to take it with Him. We start worring about what people think of us then we're in trouble.

Partial preterism patently does NOT teach a past resurrection. That's why I wrote the previous post. Instead of letting people think that they need to be corrected.
Anyway, I call this kingdom eschatology, instead anyway.

Wrong.
My wife's my body. But I still have arms and legs.
lol.
That's been said enough, and it's too precious a pearl to throw away any more.

I agree with you, but a lot of labels that we put out there, are not biblical terms anyway.

Diabolical? Huh? That is a stupid statement........
Diabolical.....
Diabolic
DIABOLIC, DIABOLICAL, a. [L., the devil.] Devilish; pertaining to the devil; hence, extremely malicious; impious; atrocious; nefarious; outrageously wicked; partaking of any quality ascribed to the devil; as a diabolical temper; a diabolical scheme or action.
Climb back in your dispensational hole and stay there.

Re: You not preaching holiness till you've named i
God doesn't commit fornication and the wedding has not taken place. To suggest that if the wedding hasn't occurred then God is a fornicator is diabolical. P.S. I am not a dispationalist. I meant no personal offence, but the logic in the point that you made is what I was referencing.
