The church and the saints have a mandate and authority to test those who call themselves apostles or teachers of the truth.
Jesus warned us that false prophets would arise and deceive many.
Paul told us to be aware of false teachers that would arise in the church.
Jude wrote to us about false prophets.
We need to test and ask questions of those who are among us.
