Battled Major Sickness All Week

And when I say battled I mean battled.

Both me and Kat got hit by one thing after another day after day. We'd pray against one thing and it'd leave then something else would show up.

Saturday and Sunday I ran a fever and I was miserable and no matter how hard we prayed it just lingered. We got to church Sunday morning and after church I just wanted to lay down. I laid down for like 20 minutes and then just got the urge to get up in defiance of this illness.

I put on some sweatpants and walked outside and prayed as I walked commanding life and healing into my body in Jesus name declaring that my body wasn't owned by the devil and he had no right to it and that it was owned and dedicated to God.

I felt strength return and I headed back home. At church that night my fever broke during service and this morning when I woke up I woke up totally recovered!

I know the church folks must have really appreciated you showing up with a fever so they and all their children could get sick also!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

It's ok...I yelled UNCLEAN!!!! At random times throughout the service...So they either thought I was contagious or I forgot my deodorant which would also explain why I didn't participate in the,"Raise your hand if you have an unspoken request and raise that other hand in faith believing as we pray," part of the service.
