David, I think the same thing about this verse...I do not think it means a woman wearing pants or a man wearing a dress....
Please understand and do not take me wrong I DO NOT wear pants...and never have but I do not believe Deut is speaking about pants....

In context, I believe the verse is exactly as read:
The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.
Now, contextually, this could change with time and cultures, imo.

Deuteronomy 22:5
The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God. What ever happened to the understanding that the Law of Moses is an single body of law that cannot be broken-up into a buffet bar of various laws that apply and various laws that don't apply?
I mean, isn't the Law an ALL or NOTHING proposition?

Thank you Sis. Alvear. I would not want to change places with you. I don't even care about cooking for just a handful of people but to prepare for that many, I would pass out. I have read a lot of your posts in times past and see the danger that you face and lack of things that we take for granted in the U.S.A. God will have a "SPECIAL" reward for you and your family in Heaven but knowing you, that will not mean anything when you see ALL those souls you have won for the Kingdom of God.
