Had the media been as dishonest and venomous for 8 years against obama as they have been the first few months against Trump, obama would have looked even worse than Trump.
The media wasn't just afraid of being called racists, they were complicit in covering up and shutting down the obama admin scandals.
You can't honestly compare obama with Trump, because the media are proving themselves as left-wing, partisan hacks who will do everything they can to damage Trump.
Had Trump had the affection and adoration of the media as obama did, there wouldn't be a special counsel investigation. There wouldn't be the leaks and crisis we're seeing today.
