While I understand your logic, I disagree. Because this would mean that it isn't inappropriate for men to wear ladies Jordache jeans. When the truth is, it is inappropriate for men to wear ladies jeans. Why? Because they pertain to a woman.

Because modern secular society has feminized something masculine. You couldn't wear them even if you wanted to, because the rear end would split down the middle.

Are we to believe that generation after generation followed the same pattern of clothing that God made for Adam & Eve. Do we not believe that between Genesis and Duet. that some one decided to wrap their loins and between the thighs for protection from chaffing or ease of working, hunting running, fighting etc. or a head wrap for protection from the elements. As the human race evolved chronologically away from creation so did the "culture'' . As detailed and specific as Noah building of the Ark, the handling of the Ark of the Covenant, the priest actions in the Holy place, or dozens more examples between creation and Duet. not one mention from God on clothing specifics. Must not been that big a deal back in the day!!!

I have 2 points about Duet. 22:5. and its just my opinion. # 1 I don't believe it is written with the intent that we read it.

The prohibition in Duet. 22:5 is not included in the parallel passage in Leviticus chapter 11. Nor is this prohibition mentioned any other place in the Bible.
To me, the issue is mixing things, like material or seeds. Don't mix and match !!
