Church Fundraiser....among other things
The business is developing amazingly and we just got a huge supply shipment in today that we are really excited about.
We have developed several new outlets for our products besides just online sales, flea markets and farmers markets.
One is personalized candles with a customized label on the lid that can be marketed for weddings or any other occasion.
The second is gender reveal candles where when you light the candle after a minute or two it reveals pink or blue wax and these would be for gender reveal parties and announcements.
The third is a fundraising branch of our company where groups and organizations can sign up to sell our products for a percentage of the profits.
This will be marketed to schools, churches,youth groups and will have a 6 candle minimum to complete the order because we will customize a label to put on top of the metal lid according to the groups preference.
It will have whatever artwork they want and the name of the group or their slogan. This is highly customizable but the REALLY awesome thing is the profit distribution.
We looked at other fundraisers that gave back 20, 30, 40% and after going through the numbers we said,"We can do better!" I mean, if youre going to help then HELP!
So what we worked out is a 55/45 split in favor of the group doing the fundraising.
The split will be calculated after taking into account cost for materials but a rough example would be like this, lets say a school or church sells 20 8oz candles, the fundraising group would make around 130 and our company would make around 100.
