Covenants tie into this how?
The last days begin with the outpouring of the Spirit and the new covenant.

This covenant was a promise to coincide with(during) the Law.....

17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

During this promise of everyone in future national Israel(written throughout the O.T., to be saved), the church is included in with future Israel (partial experience).

The last days will end with a future promise to national Israel being saved.....

9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.

11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

This is how the covenant to future national Israel admits us into the same, but not fully revealed. promise.

Re: Dealing with North Korea

The last days of something began with the outpouring of the Holy Ghost in Acts 2?

What was it the last days of?
Got to be the last days of something, before it became the last days.

Jesus' ministering on earth before the crucifixion and resurrection, was also in the last days. That was before Acts 2's outpouring, and before the new covenant, (per Heb. 9's "testator").

Re: Dealing with North Korea

It was the "last days" in Paul's mind when he wrote to the Gentile churches, and today, some 2000 years later, we are still in the last days. No matter where we are in God's timeline... we can rest assured that He knows, and when the time is right, we will all know too.

Re: Dealing with North Korea

Latter days/"last" days is a term used to refer to distant future times (as in prophecy). When the NT writers affirm they were in the latter days they were affirming the latter days of OT prophecy were occurring. The term had come to be synonymous with the "times of Messiah". Since Messiah has come, we are in "the latter days".

Oh, to be specific.

The last days that man will physically rule over the planet, bringing in the physical rule of Jesus over the planet(the singular day of Jesus).

Re: Dealing with North Korea

14 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.....

6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:

7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

24 hour day?

Nah, 1000 year/day.

There shall be one Lord for more than 24 hours.
