The closest thing to actual utility that bump firing has is if:
You have a quick change barrel (or two AR uppers).
Each barrel is a 20+ inch heavy barrel with bipod.
You have a minimum of 20 90rnd Beta mags.
You have a buddy carrying additional mags and the spare upper.
The only other scenario that would work is if you have a semi auto RPK with a Bumpski type stock, OR one of those belt fed MG32 uppers (which are now classed as firearms) with at least 1200 rounds linked and an asst gunner.
The bumpfire method is less accurate than semi, and only useful in defending against mass attacks. There are better ways to stop human wave attacks.
Unless you have a squad or two and a Chinese coolie humping your ammo for you "bump fire" isn't going to be useful. And even then its utility is questionable.
Suppression? One shot well placed can suppress a whole company for hours if done right.
If the Norks invade your deer rifle will get you all the extra happy funball stuff you can carry.
