This is why I never could believe the rapture cult - they can't present a simple, cogent, Biblical argument for their doctrine. "Do you beat your wife?"
This is why rapturists ARE NOT SAVED. They begin with a personal belief, a feeling, an emotional "conviction", a personal opinion... and then interpret the Bible to fit their personal opinion. This is the hallmark of heresies. A clear indicator that one does NOT have a "love for the truth". If the Bible flat out said "The Church is on earth during the tribulation" they wouldn't believe God Himself because it would conflict with their personal opinions and feelings. They believe whatever they believe because it makes them feel better, NOT because it is TRUTH. You cannot be saved as long as you refuse to yield to the WORD OF GOD, as long as you hold to your vain traditions against the Word of God.
And thus they have been given a strong delusion. NOTHING can be the mark of the beast as long as they haven't been raptured yet.
THINK ABOUT THAT. Think about the consequences of such an approach. Such persons are practically GUARANTEED TO TAKE THE MARK OF THE BEAST because they believe that NO MATTER WHAT'S GOING ON, it can't be the mark they need to refuse because muh rapture derp derp.
Such persons are prime candidates for being deceived by the mystery of lawlessness because muh rapture derp derp.
If God warns everyone "Don't Do X or you will perish" and you believe that it is IMPOSSIBLE for X to happen BEFORE you get raptured out of the earth then it is almost a sure thing you will "do X".
