Only the craft brand. Not singles! The squares individually wrapped
In plastic taste strange. And they are kinda mooshy.
Try Muenster cheese, or some smoked Gouda, or even Edom cheese. Good old fashioned natural white sharp cheddar is good too. "American cheese" ain't cheese (there outta be a law...).

I prefer the taste of the Catholic Eucharist. The bread at the Lutheran Church was good stuff; I visited a few times on Ash Wednesday.
The bread used in the Pentecostal churches I attended was bland. Like a cracker-thing. It’s almost bread. Almost a cracker. idk.

I enjoy Muenster and Gouda. But I like American cheese product. It doesn’t go bad. LOL

Eastern Orthodox baked their own bread.

When I was little I was at a Sedevacanti congregation that baked their bread. The priests dipped the bread in the wine.

Re: Wine vs Grape Juice

Is it sort of standardized in the apostolic ranks that communion is to be taken once a year?

Isn't Greek Orthodox communion bread leavened? Of course they drop it in the wine chalice so I suppose you may not actually taste it? All the pics I've seen look like angel food cake?

Oh it's leavened for sure. Daily bread.

It looks like little pound cakes with a cross on top.
