I respect the guy but I get amused at the celebrity branch within the UPC culture, especially having been away from it for a number of years.

What do you mean? What does Anthony Mangun giving respect to people who invested in his life and ministry have to do with "the celebrity branch within the UPC culture?"

As long as he included some no name Brother I have misspoken but all those mentioned are the highest of pedigree. It's hard to grasp if that is all you have affiliated yourself with. I can't really think of a better way to say it and still not sound offensive.
